History

White Memorial College of Arts and Science for Women, Panachamoodu is run by the White Memorial Educational Society which is a Charitable Society registered under Travancore – Cochin Literary and Scientific Charitable Societies Registration Act. XII/1955 as No.18 of 1974 on 11th day April 1974 with Registrar of Societies Kanyakumari District. The Society was organized by SDA Christian people and its prime aim is to contribute to the development of education in the country. Now the Society has under its ambience several Professional Colleges and Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The Society also runs various other institutions such as hospitals, schools and charitable organisations.
